Importance of the memory with regard to intelligence
(of Eric Oullereau)
Would memory be the intelligence of the fools as does say a former author, or on the contrary capital for intelligence, for the good reflection?
bonobo : it is the most intelligent animal
it has also a big memory, able to learn 1000 words in sign language/ or orders
monkey : (a macaque for example)
it is known as less intelligent
and less memory than bonobo
le singe inférieur (le macaque)
il est réputé moins intelligent
il a une certaine mémoire,
mais moins que celle du bonobo
bird (pigeon for example) :
it is quite dimwit
and
it has a "birdbrain"
l'oiseau (le pigeon)
il est assez stupide
il a une "tête de linotte",
une très petite mémoire
ant
it is a stupid insect, without thinking
it has no memory, it acts only by pure instinct
la fourmi
c'est un insecte stupide,
sans réflexion
elle n'a aucune mémoire,
elle n'agit que par "instinct"
Conclusion :
Conclusion :
So, we see that intelligence is linked with memory,
by looking at the animal creation, with a rather wide, exhaustive comparative structure.
